New and experienced practitioners, or those just curious are all welcome. The only requirement is that you are respectful and follow the event rules.

RSVP is encouraged but not required.

Winter solstice 2024   |   december 15   |   5:00-9:00 pm

Ritual will include a Solstice celebration and meditation.
An ordination opportunity will be added to the ritual if there are individuals interested.
Volunteers will be requested to help run the ritual.
All elements will be scripted and new practitioners are especially encouraged to participate!

Gathering & open druidic ritual to celebrate the Solstice.

  • Ritual includes interactivity and will last about 45 minutes total.
  • This event includes a potluck feast, please bring something to share. 
    • Seasonal options are encouraged.
    • If your dish is homemade please include an ingredient list for allergens.

All Event Rules

  1. Events are open to all members and guests of Black Oak Grove, and the local pagan community. 
  2. Journalists, photographers, protestors, evangelists, MAGA, fascists, and other disruptive/negative individuals are unwelcome.
  3. Events are to be a respectful, safe, and inclusive space. No ego, grudges, or predatory behavior.
  4. New practitioners and those exploring are both welcome and encouraged to attend.
  5. Please include an ingredient list for your potluck item if it is homemade (which is best!).
  6. Food and drink services from the Bird and the Book are NOT available. Bring your own drinks and nibbles.
  7. Employee areas of TB&TB are off limits at all times (bar, storage, etc.).*
  8. Leave your drama outside. Bring your light, heart, and curiosity instead.
  9. No pets or “emotional support” animals. Trained service animals are always welcome.
  10. Help clean up!

* Zero tolerance, will result in a permanent ban.
